This 240 VAC generator was preferred because of the wind situation in Lower Kieni area. This generator operates between voltages of 200 and 400 volts depending on the speed of wind and can run power tools like a drilling machine directly from the wind. The system has a battery bank hybrid with a solar panel and a 1.5KVA inverter we made from our workshop. The client does irrigation farming from river ewasonyiro and the generator provides power to pump water from the river to tanks. The generator also provides light for the home.
